Neighborhood


The neighborhood community of Kenwood is located on the southwest side of Orono off of Shadywood Road just north of Shoreline Drive. Kenwood is an excellent neighborhood featuring great homes for sale, family friendly atmosphere, and easy access to numerous amenities within Orono. The neighborhood also offers a scenic wooded environment full of mature trees, providing residents with a quiet neighborhood atmosphere. Kenwood boasts 60 single family homes featuring rambler, traditional, and craftsman housing styles with prices ranging from $200,000 to $850,000.

 

Kenwood also boasts easy access to a wide range of shopping, dining, and recreational amenities within Orono. Residents of theMinnetonka Center for the Arts in Orono, Minnesota neighborhood are within close proximity to several recreational amenities including Noerenberg Memorial County Park, Minnetonka Center for the Arts, Orono Country Club, and Wolsfeld Woods Scientific and Natural Area. Although there are no shopping centers within Orono, there are several within surrounding communities that residents of Kenwood can use. Residents of the Kenwood neighborhood are served by Independent School District 278 also known as Orono Public Schools. Orono Intermediate School in Orono, MinnnesotaOrono Public Schools serves around 2,000 students in grades K-12. The closest school to Kenwood is Orono Intermediate School. Orono Intermediate School serves over 630 students in 3rd through 5th grade, providing students with challenging academic program designed to help them excel. Other schools in the area include Schumann Elementary School, Orono Middle School, and Orono High School.
